According to the Tetris tradition, the fun comes down to arranging the falling blocks of different shapes from above in such a way that they fill a horizontal line. Tetris Effect: Connected does not change the gameplay rules developed for the original Tetris Effect. Owners of the previous version of Tetris Effect received content from Tetris Effect: Connected as a free update released the following year. Both studios together with the Stage Games team have developed a new edition of the game.
The original game was released in 2018 on PlayStation 4 and later on personal computers as a work of Monstars and Resonair studios. Tetris Effect: Connected is an extended version of Tetris Effect, another variation on the cult Tetris.
